After using a commercially available fraction calculator on the show and having several viewers ask how they could get their own, I discovered that the unit was discontinued and no longer available. Not to be discouraged, I ended up designing my own shop made version of the calculator to provide a way for anyone who wanted one to have access to it. An easy project that will provide flawless addition and subtraction of fractions, you will wonder how you ever got along without it.

While this project is one of the more simple projects in the "free patterns' section, it is also one of the most useful. A very handy item for getting the stuck on messes from your pots and pans without the harshness of soap pads or steel wool.
